The Siege

The Siege: The First eight Years of an Autistic Child by Clara Claiborne Park tells the story of Jessy Park. In the 1960s when she was just two, Jessy was unable to walk or talk yet fine with her surrounding life. With autism still in its early ages of discovery, The Siege describes Jessy's first eight years of life and how she and her family learned about how to live with autism.
