TEACCH® 5-Day classroom training: Setup

Looking forward to the next TEACCH sessions? The Indiana Resource Center for Autism has announced that in Indianapolis on June 15-19, 2015, Catherine Daviess will conduct a workshop that will provide participants with an understanding of how and why to implement structured teaching strategies (as developed by the TEACCH® Autism Program,) such as visual schedules, work systems and deliberately designed work materials.

This five-day course provides a theoretical foundation as well as hands-on opportunities to assess and teach school-aged children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in a model classroom setting. The premise of this foundation is an understanding of the learning styles of individuals with ASD and how to use teaching strategies that capitalize on learning strengths.
