VSA Indiana: Community Arts Classes: Arts for All Abilities

Very Special Arts Indiana is enrolling now for Community Arts Classes for all ages and abilities. Classes start March 23rd and are offered Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Saturdays.  Each class includes a clay and 2-D visual arts activity. Exploring love on the spectrum

According to an article found at disabilityscoop, “Autism in Love,” a documentary on romance among adults with autism, will debut during the New York City Tribeca Film Festival on April 15-26. The documentary explores what it means for those on the spectrum to seek love.

Targeting Autism

The Illinois State Library was awarded an Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) National Leadership Forum Grant to help libraries better serve patrons and family members impacted by Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). This project explores how libraries can work with diverse community organizations and programs to address the topic of ASD, through training, education and support services. This grant program will extend from November 1, 2014–October 31, 2015.
